    200 tdi Pressure test?

Defender 200 tdi that needs a new radiator. Yes it got hot before pulling up.
I'd like to see if the head is shot before committing any further.

What's the rundown please to do this? Can it be done without a radiator, or is it best to pressurise the system with radiator in place too?

    Thanks,
    Tod.

best done with the radiator in, easiest way to do it on a tdi is to pull off one of the bleeder hoses, blank one side, trim a schreader valve install it in the hose then pump it up carefully with a tyre inflation device, a bike pump with a gauge is the easiest.
