disco 1 [RRC softdash] heater/air control replacement?

So, any idea how I replace the controls?
can it pop out somehow or is it a dash removal ?

The slider switch for the fan only works up to 3 which is a little annoying, I have tried contact cleaner.

BTW is a softdash RRC but the heater controls are the same

you need to take ot the stereo, lots of screws to remove the black facsia, suround that goes down the front of the dash, remove clock and ashtray, there are screws holding it together behind them the if I remeber rightly, three or four screws holdingt he heater controls in.
