    freelander MY13 diesel engine

    Who makes the MY13 diesel engine for the freelander 2? I have heard it is a peugeot engine.

    Yes Peugeot/Ford engine. It the same engine as in the Evoque however there's different tunes between them. PSA EW/DW engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    The same engine is in a Peugot 408, a diesel Mondeo and a diesel Mitsubishi Outlander as well I think. I'm not sure how it made it into the last one but I'm pretty sure it did.

    The Peugeot 4007 is made by Mitsubishi. Japanese body, Euro engine.
    The Outlander is the Mitsubishi side of the deal.
