This post is useless without pics or video.
Due to some recent circumstances, working 7 days a week, my current commuter to Loganholme and back each day is my trusty series 3.
Recently the canvas roof died. Anyone else out there driving around in cyclonic conditions, in a series land rover with no roof, no wipers and no brakes, armed only with a drizabone riding coat and a pith helmet.
Ironic thing is, it is probably the driest I have ever been in any land rover ever

Love it! That has to be the best laugh I've had all day... I'm sitting here just imagining that....![]()
you are nuts. You'd probably put a smile on more people's faces doing that than you realise.

Pouring rain again, so here are some happy snaps from when I got home this afternoon.
Windscreen wipers now work, though only when you switch the heater on

Where's the shovel?
Do the boots fill up with water?
The coat covers the tops of the boots, so no, but they do stop the water from the land rover right foot drip syndrome.
In reality, above 50kph, you don't get wet at all, even in the heaviest of heavy downpours. You get more from the road spray sucked up from the back of the vehicle.
This months free tip:
Pith helmets are the bomb for all-weather land rover travel. Buy yours today.
