county clutch mystery

I replaced the clutch on my 1985 county LT95 a few months back and all was fine until the other day when i got in after shopping and my clutch pedal went solid about half way and couldn't put in gear- i cracked the bleed nipple on the slave and pedal went to the floor but went solid again when i bled it again- got a friend to tow me home and and have removed the slave cylinder which isn't leaking and was replaced when i did clutch a few months back-master cylinder isn't leaking either. The pedal had been a bit stiff for a few days before it happened. Normally you'd think it would be the clutch fork punched thru at pivot post but these have the solid cast clutch fork. Have tried to look thru the slave hole with torch but difficult to see much- unfortunately i also pulled the slave pushrod out with plastic clip attached when pulling back and forth to check fork movement- any suggestions? Not looking forward to the prospect of removing gearbox again but might be the only option to really check the problem. Don't suppose anyone has a garage/shed i could use near Sorrento to pull the gearbox out if needed???

HI Mattmac, I had a similar problem some years ago on my 110 Isuzu/ LT95 gearbox and ended up drilling an inspection hole in the side of the bell housing that enabled me to fix the problem without removing the gearbox etc. I no longer have the vehicle so I am unable to give you accurate directions, but it can be done. I used a hole saw and was able to replace it with some creative attachments and a quantity of Sikaflex, I think , as a sealer. There were no leakage issues thereafter. Cheers, 130man.
