Anyone had any dealings with the mobs that offer mega channels on line? Is it worth the $49 or is the content rubbish? Jim

I've never looked into on-line "TV". I can't imagine the quality would be very good.
On a side note this link is good for pay-per-view & un-televised sports events...
Wiziwig.tv | Live sports schedules. Watch free streams and the best sports events live on your pc.
Not great video quality but if you have anything like our pay-per-view sporting events its a good alternative. Here, they charge as much as $60-75 per event to watch. I'll keep my $ and deal with the quality
$49 sounds alright, website is a bit basic i.e. it doesn't list the channels available in AUS.
I tried it but any channel worth watching was so heavily subscribed it was impossible to watch. .....bandwidth shot to pieces. and the ones that easily accessed were things like favourite camel songs from Afghanistan and the like.....I tried all times of the day and night thinking that perhaps it might improve in the wee small hours but our wee small hours correspond to yanks entertainment time etc etc.....gave it up as a bad job.
