It appears they were available in the first quarter last year![]()
Just reading 4x4 action, they have got an article on a nice 2012 Defender in it. Owned by John Worthington.
Any it states it has front and rear Harrop E Lockers. I didn't think that rears were available for the P38a ?
I would like to hear from anybody who has information on these lockers or directly from John if he is on here.
Sound like my next mod !

They are basically an Eaton E-Locker with Harrop name attached for local consumption:
ELocker Differentials
#1, it would not be the first time 4WD Action got info totally wrong or just blatently lied.
#2, the way im reading the link, the application is a bit unclear as it states NO P38 for Landrovers but states rear application for Defender 02-current rear.
It would also not be the first time a non LR specific aftermarket company was not aware of the differences in models. IMO I would ring/email and confirm if interested in them.
After reading the thread "Life of PUMA rear Diff's" and discovering the pending arrival of the long awaited new Ashcroft rear centre for the P38.
My plans for E-Lockers have been shelved.
The new Ashcroft's centre sound the goods and will provide a permanent fix.
Can't wait![]()
Wortho is a member here, but I don't see too many posts from him. He is a mate of Cal415 and locka so they could chime in with first hand info.
Pretty sure the Harrop is now available for the P38 diff (to some at least) - I got a bit of work done by OL Newcastle recently and I'm pretty sure they had fitted one and/or another OL had recently done so.
