Question What Are Your Favourite Modifications?

With end of lease approaching and (therefore) a MY13 110 on order, I'm getting fixated on the build of the new vehicle. Of course any build depends greatly on intended purpose and (as usual) the theme of this one will be "a tourer that looks a close as possible to a stock 110".

I've just spent a couple of days buying components online everywhere from mudstuff to ebay... As this will be my 5th 110, I've got a pretty good idea of where I'll be taking the build, but there's always new products and lots of room for improvement so I'd like to hear what your favourite modifications are with the hope of borrowing a few good ideas, especially in the touring/camping category... So, what are your favourite modifications?

The two best mods I've ever done on Defender both comes from Daniel at Mulgo.

As Murray said, the seat extensions is absolutely incredible. At 6'1'' I've had the washer option before as well as the competition's products fitted. Whatever magic he's done with the angle and height makes a world of difference in your seating position and comfort.

The second being the gas strut on the rear door. Sounds like a minor option, but at any angle on road and off road the door opens with ease and stays open. All Defender owners know the "joy" of being smashed in the back by the safari door while you're trying to find something back there and this fixes it easily and with no fuss.

    Cheers,

    Lou

    Favourite modifications

For me they are favourite modifications:
    Snorkel
    Mulgo electric box
Breather hoses for fuel tank, diffs, gearbox extended to high up in the engine bay.
With your penchant for driving in deep water holes, they are probably essential?
Best wishes for the new 110!
