    polyair airbags

I found that my airbag had a leak after only 3.5 years of light use the only thing i can think is that sand had worn it, so if you are thinking of putting these in your rig I would advise putting some protection such as what I did with the new one lovingly supplied by MR Autos god bless them, i put a couple of layers of Scotch vinyl mastic tape on the top and also the bottom. hopefully this will make them last a bit longer!! Fingers crossed!!

I had a set in my work Patrol that did exactly the same thing.

When I had them replaced (different mechanic) he said he always puts them in a bit of truck inner-tube to stop the sand/rocks rubbing.
Never had an issue with the Patrol again.

I did as he said when I put them in the deefer. Nearly 5 years and no problems yet

Mine have been in my RRC for 10 years or so.

No bottom protection, no sleeves, been on many many dirt tracks including Savannah, GRR, Kalumburu, Plenty, Tanami, with no problems.
