Mercedes G-Class Headlight retrofit into Defender?

    Hi lads,
has anyone ever tried to retrofit a G-Class headlight into a defender?
    Check these out:

I wouldn't mind giving it a shot! Might need to cut the rear out and plastic weld it back together, or cut out the landrover to make them fit?

    Cheers!

There's some original thinking - I hope it works for you.
If it does I expect a rash of conversions !!!!!
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Reminds me of Aschenputtel, the ugly sister who cut of her toes so her foot could could fit into the slipper.

Believe me when I say I'm a purist when it get to Land Rover, but at about 35% the price of Defender LED's it might be worth consideration.

Mind, only if the modification is to the light itself and not the Defender...

    Cheers,

Too deep I'd say. You would have to cut the wheel arch out to fit them, unless you spaced them out a bit.

Seems a bit daft when a new pair of slippers is only a few dollars at Kmart.
