    Outback 4WD roof console

    Hi Guys,

Anyone got an Outback 4WD Roof Console?

    If so how is it?

I am looking at somewhere to put the UHF.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

What year model? Many have put their uhf in a Mud Pod or Raptor dash unit in older TD5 or 300TDi models. Search in here or google to see them.

Got 2012 Puma, Don't see the need to rip out the dash...yet

That's why am looking at the outback roof console.

I have looked at the Mudstuff and think it will blend in better with the other interior, but wanted to know if people had fitted the outback and see how it looks.

Mudstuff is $200 cheaper without P&P

    Just looking for opinions...

    Cheers

we have one too in our 07 been in there now for mmm about 5 years and its seen some punishing corrugations the only thing we have done with ours is put rivnuts in at the are of the interior light were it originally screwed in buut that was only because the garage took it off to do work on the firewall and pull the bloody screws!

but it holds heaps better with the rivnuts anyway.

I personally thing its one of the best mods on the car the lights are awesome for individual driver passenger and I can have my light on to map read and it doesnt bother Ian one bit as the light is angled away from the driver
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Plate screws into rib across roof at seam...

Console screws to plate at rear and bracket fixes to rear view mirror up front.

You need to change / modify visors...
