    Semi floating rear oil seal

Just starting to put my semi-floating rear hubs back together and want to double-check which way round the oil seal is supposed to go, I've seen pics of them put in both ways! It's the one that runs on the collar, closest to the Axle, part 15 on the parts catalogue. Does it sit with the lips facing the diff, or do the lips face in, towards the bearing?

Assemble with the lip towards the diff, so it keeps the diff oil out of the bearing and doesnt water down the grease and then run out onto the brakes. Most of the bearings only have dust seals fitted not proper oil seals.
