Saw this in the back streets of Longreach Today

The way its loaded with utmost disrespect where else would it be going

Damn! I hope not! That station wagon shell probably has all the replacement bits I need for 'Liz'! Sad to see it like that and being in Longreach it will have minumal rust!

With hooks on the tub for a soft top canopy? Mine doesn't have them
The chassis also has interesting brackets on the rear crossmember, 120 perhaps?

A few years back I spied a derelect and most likely rust free split window Kombi in a yard at Winton (I think it was Winton, can't quite remember..) and went to the front shop to ask what was the go with it. "too late mate, it's going on a truck to Melbourne this week, some passer by bought it, cash!". You need to be in the right place at the right time me thinks these days!

maybe??? is it just me or does the rear tub look to have more panel between the rear door and rear tyre than a normal 110???

Mark, yes the canopy hooks are odd, and the rear guard wheel arch profile certainly looks series 3....BUT the bulkhead and front guard etc looks 110...and I have those tailgate hinge brackets on my 1985 county 110 rear crossmember.

Could be a Hybrid, Tub is series III going by the tail light positions, Camino Gold paint (Series III color) showing thru under door hinges , but 110 windscreen and front bits. Hmm, tip might be worth a visit.

The brackets on the coiler chassis sitting on top of the body, look like they supported a tray?
