    Squeaky EGR

Is a noisey EGR in a puma 2.4 something that can wait till next service. Or can it turn in to a flat bed drama?

The degree of squeak can get quite loud before it can cause electronic faults etc etc due to sticking open or closed. There is a fix for the noisy ones, a bit fiddly but saves a LOT of $$ because they are able to be dismantled and lubed, this needs to be done reasonably early in the noisy stage as if left for ages they become damaged and unable to be cleaned and lubed. A new valve is quite exxy

Would installing a BAS remap negate the need for replacing/repairing the valve?
