That little yellow aerobatic plane and pilot impressed me.
HARS just does a incredable job.
I wonder if they will ever be able to fly the F111 again.
Thanks for the photos Ron!
For those who don't know there will be another Warbirds Downunder this year on November 2:
Temora Aviation Museum :: Warbirds Downunder 2013 :: Temora Aviation Museum Aviation
Military and other vintage vehicles are welcome to attend. Get in touch with the Museum if you want to attend and display.
Bob
We noticed that all the HARS aircraft had the Australian flag on the RHS of the fin facing the wrong way, e.g., this F111. Is that normal when painted on an aircraft?
Connie (Super Constellation) - one of two remaining flying Constellations.
Lockheed Neptunes. I omitted to get the ex-French Neptune you can just make out behind the blue one.

The Boomerang (Suzy Q) used to be based here in Toowoomba.
I don't think Matt Denning's web site is up any more, but his restoration of it from basically a bare frame was a great story.
Back before the David Hack meet up here turned into a car show, the Zuccolis warbirds and Suzy Q were star attractions.
The Boomerang doing low fast passes over the heads of the crowd was awesome stuff, before the fun police put a stop to it.
