That would be my guess too.
    But, which carrier?

HMS Terrible perhaps? Better known to us Aussies as HMAS Sydney.
The deck shape and "Hockey Stick" aerials certainly look familiar to me.

Nope, on second thought, we had her already by then and she served in Korean waters under our flag with Anzac.

There is nothing written on the back of the photo so I am unable to help with the where and when.

I had at first thought Suez however they are painted the wrong colour.

Can anyone identify which version of series 1 they are which will at least give a date it cannot be before.

They look like full grill models with headlights behind the grill, so my guess would be 1949/50. I wonder if they are still in Korea?

I don't know my flags. Can someone tell me which one that is on the back of the deck?

Actually a number of those are Jeeps and up until 1967 Australia used the British White Ensign on RAN ships.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
