Honestly my wife's 20K 10 year old Ford Focus with 130K on it has had two small warranty claims. I must be up to at least 50 with 78K on the dial coming up to 3 years.
Jap may have no soul and ride terrible, but you can't beat value for money.

geee, you guys make out I only bang on here when I my car breaks.
All good, just buggered. No tilt tray or anything like that. I had my Air Con sensor thingy redone the other day so I have cold air now. Do you know they have to pull the dash to fit the replacement bit. Anyway after that the immobiliser doesn't do what it once did which suits me better. But 3 weeks out from a little desert trip and to be honest a disabled immobiliser suits me fine. The EGR which died this time last year out in the desert has gone again, so I have asked for that to be shut off as well.
Not sure if LR will come at this as it has pollution controls attached to it. But if LR don't do it come end of warranty I'll get a remaps simply to disable the above. I'm not forking out for an annual EGR or immobiliser each year. A simple kill switch somewhere will work just fine.

yes head scratching times. All good I didn't think you guys were having a go. Just made me think a bit about my actions on here.
I don't think I have had an immobiliser to date that does the same thing. Turns out the original which I liked best was faulty. My current is now a lot like it was.
It doesn't surprise me your door actuator what ever it does, and your immobiliser are linked. knodes85 can tell you some stories on weird wiring channels and issues and how it confuses the best of them. He may not wish to share however.
I've tried to pull back on here from reading peoples issues and monitoring mine to see if I may have something similar. However, the current thread about the engine revving when changing gears seems to have come to haunt me.
It seems I have become very unco with my driving in the last week, or perhaps somehow the wiring channel for the immobiliser is affecting the rev thing. Perhaps the bit has failed. But I can't seem to change gears very well at all anymore, and haven't ever found the rev thing an issue in the past.
I'm 3 weeks out from a trim into the red heart and I feel a bit beaten by the continuous crap this car keep dishing up. Just want the thing to run hassle free for at least 6 months as I couldn't possibly think of years, that would be crazy.
My apologies for venting my disappointment with my Defender again.
The pile will be fixed and run good until next time.

Not wanting to make light of your issues, but 4 immobilisers sound like something causing the problem...
I had a dodgy immobiliser on my car and the Land Rover dealer here in Perth replaced a relay of some description on the system, without actually needing to replace the whole immobiliser. 12 minute job 5 months ago and not a moment's hassle since.
Southern Land Rover told me that they've come across it a few times and it turns out to be a simple fix.
It is however not listed as a known Defender issue, but its worth an ask...

						Definitely not having a dig mate - was more wondering what your symptoms were this time. I'm terrified mine is going to start playing up again. I'm heading off in it for 5 weeks for my honeymoon soon and I can imagine how popular I'd be if it refuses to start halfway around the CREB!
My air-con is dead too - but I'm out of warranty so I can't afford to fix it at the moment. Did you get yours sorted by my mates?
Funny you should mention refraining from tracking other's issues. I'd been trying to do the same and unfortunately noticed just the other day that it appears my ignition barrel's going based on the recent thread. Unsurprising given the months of on/off during the attempted diagnosis of my immobiliser faults!
Oh and my 3rd EGR is dead too.
Still, the other weekend I drove down an extremely overgrown track at 10:00pm at night, slept on my bed in the back and woke up here to go for a surf. Pumas - give and take...

JC, this time it's very simple. And actually nothing has happened detrimental. But I know in the past if the immobiliser chucks it in then a tilt tray is required.
At the moment all it is doing is not immobilising the vehicle. It was locking the starting process after 15 seconds or so, with key in or out as designed. However after the dash came out for the air con sensor it doesn't lock anything. The doors lock with the fob and that's about it. I believe this is not what it is meant to do, so LR are whacking in yet another. I will follow up Lou's suggestion of perhaps something causing it.
To be honest it doesn't worry me one bit how many LR chuck in under warranty. But the hassle of it failing around town is a pain, and on the annual hols in the middle of the Madigan is just not on.
Apparently the air-con sensor is up to version 4, so hopefully that common failing part wont see V5. I live in hope the immobiliser is similar.
got any good isuzu's lying around the shed?
opps just re read your Q. No idea what the code is. Don't have that technology. I will ask the dealer to tell me and PM you.
