    King Chrome tools

Not sure again if this is the right place but i'm sure someone will let me know
I wanted to remove Headlights today to start getting ready for fitting HID lights.i needed a female Torque socket so i rang the local spares bloke ,Yep We gottem only $99.95 for a set of ten yep theys Kingchrome>Lifetime guarantee he says.Os->hit i thought i'm not doing that one.
So here it gets interesting,I'm thinking my mate Bunning will have the China copy as i only have 4 bolts to undo.
so over i goes and Lo and Behold he's got, you guessed it Bluddy KingChrome too but only $25.63 can you believe it ,so i bought both female, and a male set as second purchase .
So Muppet if you nick down to Bunnings at Orange help yourself and you can take those seats out.
    Cheers

Don't believe for a minute they will honour the lifetime warranty on those. I broke one on the exact same set the first time I used it. Tried to claim warranty and they came back saying to sod off because it was caused by abuse...

I only had to undo 3 fairly small screw holding a concentric hydraulic throw out bearing on a Vectra gearbox. They were tight - the first two caused the bit to twist a bit, and the last one snapped it. I was only using a 3/8 ratchet - no pipe, no rattle gun - and that is abuse according to them...

Made of some substance resembling plastercine I think...

I rate kincrome as highly as the cheapest junk you can find. The last few things I've purchased with there brandname have been utter crap. FFS: I even snapped the jaw off a brand new set off bull nosed pliers just by squeezing the the handles ......................... I'm a weedy little computer nerd too .... sigh.

They have a 'scratch & dint' shop at their warehouse in Scoresby (open Wednesday, Thursday & Friday).
Always some bargains to be had but there are always a lot of incomplete tool sets (parts broken ?) and tools with names engraved on them (returned for credit ?).
All outsourced from Taiwan. There are a lot of other tools in the shop and when I asked it turned out they are the samples that they are sent when they are looking for additions to the range.
Supertool and Chrometech are also Kincrome, Finkal as well from memory plus they have Lisle in the shop.

They have to watch their advertising though Kincrome Australia Pty Ltd

I have some of their tools and I don't rate them anywhere near Repco's own tools which are also sourced from Taiwan. But they're better than SP!
