    Len Beadell Talk

Just reading Nugget's posts on his recent trip (many thanks Nugget) enthused me to look again, and I've finally re-found a talk (after dinner speech) that the great man Len gave in Shepparton.
Its 70 MB, and runs for about 45 - 60 minutes from memory. Brilliant/funny with a very dry sense of humour. If anyone wants a listen (assuming I'm not breaching copyright), I'm happy to make up a CD.

I'm not sure, but I wonder if this is the same recording I have somewhere at home. It was given to me some time ago whilst I was moving, so I still haven't had the chance to listen to it

I was recently give two of his books, bloody brilliant
the first I read was about the roads for the bomb test site
and teh secound was for some other roads n stuff

    yep, good read
He would work till midnight or more doing star sites and the calculations and then when getting his head down, hear the wistle of a puncture and so would get up and fix the puncture before sleeping only to get up at sunrise

    It's on youtube somewhere.

We listened to the Shepparton talk when we were at the 250 mile centre line post on our last trip.
