32Gb for 10 hour loop whenever driving sounds OK. Noting down the time and date on a notepad is simple and would work for me. Infringement notices have date and time so I suppose if you had an archive it would be simple to pull up... did yours come with supplied software for bringing up video by date/time ?
Backup everyday would be a hassle... a hook up to a USB 1TB storage drive would cover most trips.
Hmmm idea alert... I might look into making a HDD/rasberry-pi 'archiver' where you can insert any SD card and it will automatically make a copy to a USB HDD. This will be its sole purpose. Insert the card and LED lights let you know when its done. duplicate files ignored. option to format your SD card once backed up. Remove empty SD card to put back into camera.
Just thinking out loud...
Anyway cheers, I think I might get me one of these dash cams now.
