You could try this, as mine came off with the RRC lug nut wrench.
Just wondering if anyone has a steering wheel removal tool for an RRC or knows where I can buy one?
The blinker mech alignment to the steering column doesn't seem correct as I always have to hold the blinker in place for right hand turns. It won't stay clicked in place. Works fine if I pull the blinker mech off the steering column
I wanted to pull the steering wheel off to see if I can adjust it but looking at the workshop manual you seem to need a special tool to remove it

Hey Jeffery does your RRC wheel look a bit like this one once you get the padded bit off?
If so then remove the main nut (or at least undo to the end of the thread so when the wheel pops if will not come off) then make up a plate (I used 3mm steel I had) that has two holes drilled to line up with the two holes either side of the main nut. In the picture you can see one which had dirt in it before I cleaned and made up my plate approx where the arrows point.
The threaded holes in the wheel are 6mm diam I think from memory. Place the plate over the main shaft and then put the bolts through the plate and tighten up on the steering wheel. This will pull the wheel off by pressing the plate down on the center shaft. Keep the plate for next time with bolts!
Put anti seize on the splines if you want it easier to get off next time
Sorry I don't have a picture of the plate on my disk that I can upload and post.
