Question on 2 barral webber carb

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about changing my single barrell stomberg carby with a new manifold with a 2 barrel webber similar to the ones fitted to the early model fords. Will I get anymore efficiency in terms of power, torque, economy? Or am I wasting my time? Any ideas? Thanks, Eddie.
