**Semi Urgent - PAS pump bolt size
Hi all,
On a trip at present and my PAS pump has come adrift and cutting the belt. It appears the top bolt holding the pump to the mounting plate has fallen out all together.
I think it is an M8x12. Can anyone confirm? I'll need to pick one up tomorrow.

In the event the pump is rooted, does anyone know a belt size to bypass it?

bolt size is M8 x 1.25
They are flanged bolts but a standard bolt and washer will do the job
chnaces are that the pump bearings are ga ga which is wobbling the pump and causing bolts to loosen and belts to shred.
There will be a belt that fits, from memory I found a 5PK that would bypass power steering and alternator and chucked it in the spares box - pretty much just wrapped some string around the pulleys I wanted to drive and then went to the auto store...
