    Tuning TV Reciever Dongles

    Hi All,

I've recently had to retune/scan my TVs due to the shutting of the analogue network and channel reallocation....or what ever has just occurred .

Pretty simple exercise on the TVs with no issues encountered.

However, In order to record and run my media stuff, I have PCs connected to a couple of TVs. I have WINFAST receiver dongles connected to the PCs, so that the computers can receive TV signals.

They worked perfectly before having to retune but on retuning them recently, both have failed to pick up any of the SBS stations.....(I'm waiting for the jokes ).

Has anybody else got a similar set up, that has encountered and fixed these issues?

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Kev.

I had a similar problem but not with WINFAST.

Some of these gadgets have a list of tuning parameters for different cities. You just select the city and it tunes to the allocated frequencies which is great until the list goes out of date.

Don't know how Winfast works but on mine I had to tune SBS manually by typing in the tuning parameters for my location. I found them somewhere on the SBS website.

    Thanks Guys,

    Manual tune was the go.

Took a bit of mucking around to find how to do it as it wasn't very obvious but once I found out where to make the changes, it was easy.

    Cheers.
