    Nissan rollover

check out the LROCV facebook page for a youtube video of a Patrol Roll Over at Gough's Bay, Eildon

    very scary stuff

for a start the driver took totally wrong line, but to me the clip demonstrates how all that weight up top raises the cog so much that it makes your truck downright dangerous , not much sideways angle there before Newtons law took over. ( Im guessing only 25-30 degrees)

having already received a couple of LROCV rolling pins myself, its one reason you wont see a roofrack on my truck.

reading some comments made by the filmer. He says it had a 5" lift that had drooped. I guess a roof top tents are 60 to 100kg? but that's not outrageous.
Perhaps driving to aggressive for the angle of the line. It's hard to see the line, or am I showing my inexperience.

A 5" lift , I missed that info, that is going to raise the Cog even more !!

been up there in my old factory original BJ40 no probs ( my inlaws lived at Eildon)

it looks like he cut the corner instead of going up well to the left of frame

Its amazing how much flooring it can unsettle a vehicle, that and trying to go across a slope.

Ask a Pommy bus driver how far a double-decker can lean over before Sir Isaac Newton takes over...

And now, in the spirit of 'Educating the Ignorant' (me...) here's another how NOT to video. You'll love the ending...

love the ending...I got a kick out of 2min mark. Well a good laugh really.

I had seen that before. Amazes me they just work with brut force. Not a shovel to be seen anywhere.

It's a good example of how lots of small things gather. The lift, the line, the load, the driver..

Seriously though who floors it when they are unsettled like that??
