USA GROG PRICES
These prices are from a junk mail flyer from a large liquor store that I picked up whilst in Albuquerque last month. Booze is incredibly cheap in the USA. One can afford to be a drunk there. We get ripped off mightily in Oz with taxes and excise.
Leinenkugel or Yuengling (US premium beers, good stuff) 12 packs $10.59
Dos Equis, Fat tire, Blue Moon, Sierra Nevada 12 packs $11.99
Corona, Heineken, Sam Adams, Newcastle 12 packs $12.99
U.S. mainstream beers, Miller, Bud, etc. 30 packs $17.99
Australian Yellowtail wine 1.5 Litres $9.99
Penfolds Bin 28 $8.99
E & J California brandy 1.75 litres $16.99
Bacardi, Smirnoff, Svedka, Canadian Club 1.75 litres $16.99
Captain Morgan, Jim Beam 1.75 litres $19.99
and incredibly
Takka vodka, Admiral Nelson rum 1.75 litres $9.99

It seems Australia is the price gouging capital of the world, makes me ****ing angry at why we are continually exploited. From software to clothes to liquor we get smashed, and then they wonder why we pirate movies/ TV shows etc. this is also one of the main reasons I choose to make my own beer, it's one of the few ways I can stick it up these ******.
