Engine vibration - mass dampener?
Ever since the top end rebuild ive been noticing a vibration from 3000 up. It may have been there before but jst didn't notice it as it just ran so bad.
I'm a bit suspicious of the mass-dampener. I measured the runout at 2mm and theres a lot of small cracks in the rubber.
Engine mounts are 18 months old, and the rebuild shouldn't have changed anything in regards to vibrations.
Dreading someone pointing out it could be the flex plate
Also can the mass-dampeners be reconditioned with new isolation rubbers?
Ive also been teying to find out if LR balanced each dampener on the engine. If I bought a new dampener would I have to use the weight in the old dampener?
