Looking at RRS with electronic rear diff locks - how can I tell if one is fitted?

As the title suggests, I am looking around for a RRS and would like to know how I can tell if the e-diff is fitted.

Is there a control switch I can look for? Could someone with one fitted post a photo?
Also, any comments about their performance / reliability would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Simon.

You have to get underneath and look for the actuator on the rear diff. There is no separate switch, the operation is fully automatic.

Isn't it also obvious when rock crawl is engaged and it comes up on the 4wd display as the status of the rear diff is also displayed.

    Garry,
It displays both diff locks even if you don't have it. It just remains green all the time.
If you have a diff lock then the symbol goes red if being used.

Put vehicle in off road height & look in above the L/H/R wheel for the actuator above the rear diff with a wiring harness covered in foil.
Or ring a dealer with the VIN.

Simon, these vehicles are not useless without the rear diff, they are marvellous, but the rear diff lock just makes things easier.
I have driven both on & off road & can tell the difference. If you can find one with a rear ediff your doing well.

    Cheers

Thanks for the replies so far. Some of the advertising is a bit vague on this option and it is named differently by so many dealers.
