help to replace diff gaket

Morning all,

the front and rear diffs sprung a leak around the diff housings so i pulled the rear apart no problems and replaced the gasket.

I have no idea how to remove the housing on the front diff,

Do i need to remove the swivel pinion to slid the axles enough to remove he housing?

Hi Josh,
Yes, for the front you need to either remove the hubs at the flange between swivel and axle tube, or remove all the hub internals.

split the hubs from the flange between the swivel and axle tube like Mark suggested and hey presto, housing removed new gasket on and housing refitted in 2 hours with the help of my brother.

Even managed to get the springs painted in KBS chassis black along with some other suspension bits and pieces
