    How's your fathers day

Mine has been great. Both kids made some really nice original cards, paper weights, and artwork from school and kindy. The wife has passed out from night shift so I have the kids to myself, and the smiles from paying pirates on the new dingy purchase has gone a long way to paining for itself already.

It's pretty cool being a dad

I am lying in bed waiting for a cup of tea. I think my 2 are trying to sort that out. Daughter was out all night and only came through the door a couple of hours ago, so not a bad effort from them IMO.

(Oh, they are 19 and 16 by the way - no home made cards any more, but I'll get a cuppa and breaky)

I had to make my own cuppa, would have died of thirst otherwise. My two are 17 and 14, 17yo daughter hasn't yet returned from boyfriend's house (had promised to be back by 8.30 so that we can go out for a picnic lunch somewhere), 14yo son I'm unlikely to see for a couple more hours yet.

    And SWMBO still snoring.

Do they both have mobiles near them? I'd keep texting and ringing them until they got their bums into gear..

Hope you get your cuppa soon.

Fathers day, very mixed this year.

Just waiting for my youngest daughter to arrive, she's picking up some extra bacon and then the kids will be cooking B&E on the bbq for breakfast. Then it will be time for a look at Kellys new car, picked up Friday, but got overwhelmed by other events in the family. Now I'll have a bit of time to look at it.

SWMBO has just stopped snoring and out of bed. Might see some offspring being rounded up in a minute or two.

Well, just finished breaky in bed.. Bacon, eggs, beans, hash browns, tomatoe and cheese kransky.

Very yummy. Just got a coffee to finish things off.

But, just found out miss wants a lift back to Ballarat this morning as she is working this arvo..... Had to be too good to be true...

How do you get your kid to get her licence, when she is not at all interested in driving or cars? I have failed as a Father in this regard...

Made my own pot of tea, walked to work (9k's) made my own breakfast and settled down to 10 hours at work. In the FCC at the present.

Son rang an hour ago and will speak to daughter later, but they have a few other issues going on in their lives at the moment too as their Uncle Bushie will attest
