It was about as good as it gets. Real "edge of the seat" stuff. The commentators were pretty impressed too and were comparing it to previous classic finishes.

Am I right in thinking that between them, the three podium finishers had one dislocated collar bone, a once broken collar bone and a twice broken collar bone?

The Honda team certainly found a young rider worthy of taking over from Casey Stoner.

VNX205 your quite right injury wise! These guys are a tough breed. Agreed the racing was almost F1 (ish) for most of the race but I had my heart in my mouth for the last few laps. I managed to mono my recliner (all the way over the back) and wake up the kids with "Comon Mark! GO GO GO"

Top ride by me little Jap mate in Moto 2. Shame he ran out of steam!

Great watching, pity its two weeks until the next one haha

Only got to watch the Moto2 and the MotoGP, but both were excellent racing.

Really, really makes me want to get back on the track watching them. Absolutely indescribable feeling.

That being said, I got my left knee down on the twisty split at Windsor earlier in the week as part of my commute, so there's still fun to be had.

Great races both the Moto2 and GP, you gotta admire Lorenzo though, I don't think he is 100% yet, even though he said he was.

Also it was on Casey Stoners request that Maquez go straight to a factory MotoGP team, they had to change the rules so he could.

    Cheers Baz.

Yes I heard that re Stoner but wasn't aware of any necessary rule changes ?
