Recent fish

Gday folks,

Here is a couple of better happy snaps from the last few months. Had a good run lately in the local.

Thready was on a 2-4kg daiwa procaster imx with a penn 2500 applause spooled with 8lb braid with 10lb fluro leader and a z man 4" with a 3/8 5/0 jighead. Thready went 79cm.

Flathead was on the same combo but with the trusty old gulp banana prawn minnow grub and a 1/6 3/0 jighead. Flathead went 71cm.

Been getting a few jewie too on the 4" and 3" z man. Biggest one went 71cm so far but no photo as we only had the old mans phone at the time. Typical.

Thready definitely had the most fight in him. Hit it on the drop and peeled about 50m off in the first 30 seconds. Was at sparrows in the morning too, great way to wake up.

Salmon was on a frozen pillie floating around in the surf down at Iluka just on dusk.

Flathead photo was emailed to mum and dad who are travelling England so pooch was in the photo to say gday to them

September is a beaut time for getting out on the water and wetting a line. Happy fishing.
