    Rcently bought a 2007 series 3, SE diesel

    First question;
    Why are the threads in reverse order, and how do I fix that.

    2. My drivers door sometimes won't unlock, even when the others are unlocked. At first I thought it might be poor remote management, but it happens haphazardly. Not to mention when it is most inconvenient to climb in from the passenger side.

    3. The vendor provided a box with this in it. What is it?
    part # 4R8Q-6600-AC, with U1NDA beneath it.

    The threads are in order from newest to oldest. And you can change that in User CP, Edit Options.

    New driver's door lock module required.

    Oil pump housing.

    Hope that helps!

    ~Rich~I added photos but they haven't come through.

    Thanks sheerluck.

    Not sure if I'm happy about having an oil pump housing as part of the sale!

    I would be. It's a couple of hundred bucks worth.

    Additionally

    Am considering having a Mitchell Bros 'Air Off Kit' fitted for tyre re-inflation.

    Any feedback re these?

    I have one, I'd recommend an ARB compressor under the bonnet instead. ( I have both) The problem with the air off kit is it does not supply enough air to reinflate all tyres and it takes too long for the compressor to refill the tank.

    Your Disco may not have the required bung on the front of the air tank either. On latter models it was removed.
