Rear 12v Power Outlet- max amps?

    Hi there guys,
Just bought an old trailer sailer for the summer. The trailer uses a 912 electric winch which draws 60amps on first ignition. Atm i'm running it to extension jumper leads to reach the battery.
Can I put a plug on it and use the power outlet in the rear. Or will this blow the fuse or fry my D3??
    Regards
    Christian

I'd wire in a separate Anderson plug on circuit directly from your battery (separately fused or circuit breaker protected) - use a genuine/quality item.

A bit more slightly related discussion here: 12v plugs

60amp inrush current. Depends on it's duration but it may trip a 50A circuit breaker. The HCE (High Current Extension) by Traxide is a per thought out system. Other option may be to fit an aux battery in the rear of th vehicle and power from there.
