Nut Bolt size identification person in Fremantle?
Does anyone know of anyone local to me in the Fremantle area who can look at the male fitting welded to the rear of my auto trans sump/cover, and tel me what size it is?
I'm partially confident that its either a 1/4" or 1/8" inch NTP whatever that is, but not prepared to bet my lefty on it.
I need to source another one or 2 male fittings so I can refit/weld my existing setup ATF temperature sensor to a replacement "D1 pan with dipstick" onto the D2a and possibly also put an ATF temp sensor on the RRC.
General Discussion
However, for the RRC, I'm seriously thinking I can live with one of those sensor wire types that sit under an existing transmission sump/cover bolt, providing it also incorporates a high temp alarm.
I think TM4 and MadMan are basically my two options - given I also want a low coolant alarm and an engine oil pressure gauge with a proper sensor - and not having yet checked whether my Nanocom can also cover the ATF temp function - which would not be an automatic display on instrument mode.
My Nanocom on instrument mode gives an excellent coolant temp with a settable alarm.
