On the UK sites there is talk about the linking cam chain on the 2.7 TDV6 failing, sometimes at relatively low miles.
Has this shown up to be an issue in Australia and anyone actually had one fail?

Didn't see this before Garry.
I did read of one on Disco3, which is probably where your concern has originated, but other than that, nothing.
Yes Dave I did see it there but also mentioned in passing on another forum. But as there were no takers here it looks like not such an issue. It does beg the question that if they use chains to drive the second camshaft on each bank and it is sealed for life why no make the main drive, chains rather than belts.
