Either buy or make up a dip stick like the one that comes with the Roamerdrive unit. They are a simply made item.

yes why not? or drill and tap 2 holes, one low and one at fill height and join with clear tube. Of coarse this is simple for me to say sitting here. But I figure it MAY offer a solution?
Someone may have one and be able to take a pic and post it so that you can get the idea of how it looks.
Check out the pics that I place in the thread "overdrive unit" a year or so back. A couple of them show the dip stick laying on the bench.
