    Disco 3/4 Axle Portals?

Starting to see a few sets of Axle Portals out there on live axle vehicles, and one wicked Puma that came out with us on our last drive.

What about the Independent sprung vehicles, of course considering the angles it would put the wheels/tyres on during articulation, but are axle portals something that can or are being done for the later model Disco's?

I'd be more interested in a diff drop front and rear. Similar to what's available for most IFS four wheel drives.

What a waste of time, money and reliability.

Have alook at this earlier discussion on Portals for D3's, I'd be interested if it didn't cost three arms and four legs. ...

I reckon a D3/4 with portals and 35" Muds would smash those sooky girly blouse Fender owners off road. ...

Mind you a well set up D3/4 already does a pretty good job for any 4b with on average only 32" tyres at best.

Sorry Rich, didn't realise you had already put up the link.
    Cheers,
