Look what i got .........shiny new bits

Hey there just got home from seeing a new mate at a 4x4 shop.

I got a great bargan,

side protection bars, - that replace the plastic jobby on the disco,
rear protection bar, - which mounts after the rear bar - so i can now jack from the rear - aluminium

and best of all, two sets of landrover wheel arches, or at least one set and another which he had made in fibreglass from the original black plastic ones,

the price- $500 the lot

the break up RRP is side bars $490 pr
rear bar $600 odd
Wheel arches fibreglass - $599
Wheel arches Original LR - who knows but not cheap !

Whs does everyone recon on the price

Sound like a bargain.

The only problem is when you buy too many bargains at once and forget to tell the missus. Geez I got in trouble ops:

Good now though (mainly because if I do it again she mightn't stick around to be angry  )

But back on track, the proce that you got it for sounds great, nice work 8)

I honestly dont know what i did, nearedt i could tell is be right place right time, and spoke to a bloke who wanted tomove some old stock etc

The side bars are second hand - they were on one of their company vehicles.. the rest is old showroom stock...

makes you wonder how many 4x4 shops have new or shop soiled old stock out there....

plus hes a landrover buff me thinks

Crikey !

I would have bought them at that price and I don't even own a disco....

Of course if I got enough bits for it, it would make sense to buy one
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
