1/4 million klm's

sounds a lot,,,,

yep BUB91 the mighty V8rossignol has passed the 250,000 mark.

the bonnet and roof have paint crazes, (or so I'm told)

rust in the rear floor near the wheel arches (NWWA,BS) bottom front inside door skin, (NWWA,BS) inside-front of rear wheel arches(NWWA,BS)

Still does'nt use oil, still does'nt need a cam change.( well, it does  )

off with the bad stuff---------

BUB91 has taken us lots of places and our life style revolves around BUB91 being able to do what it does,, sounds sort of weird, but, not.
its nearly the opposite of being taken for granted,,,,
There is never any thought of NOT being able to do something.
if it involves a us and car,, BUB91 can do it.

We are looking forward to the next 250,000. 8)

Congrats to BUB91 the faithful retainer.

Its great to have confidence in the truck inspite of some peoples prejudiced views of the marque. The NWWA attitude is essential.

I have been amazed at some LR owners anal retentive concerns about squeaks and rattles and their not forgiving the quirks. This largely due to not exploring the vehicles capabilities and therefore not being able to put things into perspective. Also the places they haven't seen and experiences not had as a result of being precious.

May you and BUB91 see another 250k.

8) congrats on the 1/4 mill. K's !!!may you have many more.
I agree with one-iota about the nwwa attitude as I have run with it myself for a long time , although slightly different eg; if something is wrong , theres nothing wrong! so if i have a squeek or rattle or some small "thing " that is not quite right ,everything is just honky-dory, 'cos as murphy says "if something can go wrong it will!", and normally it's something BIG!!!
