    SIII Gearbox breather

    Hi

I've posted to the "Intro's" forum if you're interested in my current project, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with a breather in a series 3 gearbox?

Any hints or tips on how to?

    Thanks
    Richard

Hmmm, didn't know that they needed one particularly.

Thinking of doing a lot of deep water crossings?

Ahh, it's there now. Sounds like a nice little (ok, not so little) project.

I suspect that it will look, and go, fabuously when you are finished.

As for the gearbox breather, I don't think that it is really needed. Grover has been abused by the army for years without one and has managed to survive thus far.

Thanks. I was out at Silverdale about 18mths ago and bought 3 breathers. I've done the f&r axles and was trying to work out why I bought the 3rd one. Thought maybe gearbox or TC, but can't see where it might fit anyway.
