Makes all the rest still here, that little bit more special!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I now have a defender so I can tow, and when I am back at armidale I am within striking distance of QLD.
    Let the games begin.
damn it just realised I am a poor uni student you win this round... and i guess the rest.
Good to see such a good vehicle go to a good home though, I know the previous owner was happy about that, as am I

Very unevenful (which is a good thing). Left Newcastle on Sunday arvo, got as far as Tamworth and camped the night there. We got back on the road about 7 and had lunch at the border. Nan (driving my Fraud) was playing tailed charlie until then, but went ahead (at 100 kph ) while I cruised home arriving around 8 that night.

Nice easy drive, particularly with Power Steer & parabolics

Banjo has done some great work.

I coasted into Ban Ban Springs years ago in my 2a with one tank dry and the other sucking air.

Glad it was an uneventfull trip.. Yeah its different driving a series with full power steering . & the parabolics make a difference . Even more so when theres a load on them..

I also ment to tell you theres an isolator switch in the back on the passengers side to turn off the second battery..Also the whole dash & center box are covered in a marine grade UV protected vinal so shouldn't fade , I just use armerall to clean it..

Jason, great (first) trip . I found the isolator and figured as much, given it is right near the 2nd battery.

Ban Ban springs is about 130kms from my place and I just stopped there for a coffee and leg stretch. It seemed like a good place to get a pic and daylight was about to disappear anyway. I spent about 13 hours in the chair on Monday and was very surprised how dam comfortable it is

The only thing I can think off ATM is that the tyres are a bit noisy (because of their open design), but that is an easy fix.

Ronnie and I are going to take it to Blackbutt to attend the club (SLOw) annual dinner in a couple of weeks. It will certainly get some use.

There is a new thread on S3 central locking, so I am watching that with interest as I would like the convenience of that as well. Might even look at cruise

The switch is on the side of the starting battery. as to not loose any currant when the second one is off.. Yeah those tyres do hum a bit.
Yeah the central locking is easy enough to do we where going to put it on the green one just never got around to it .. Only need a bracket to hold the regulator Then the rod just goes onto the bit that locks the door so you need to drill a hole for the rod as it has a Z shape on it so it doesn't come out.. Im putting it on Harry . Ive already done all the looking into it & maesurements & what I nee for the brackets..But id like to use defender doors if I can get some. Ive also looked right into aircon &found some small under dash units that are used in hotrods that will fit easy.
