    Wet Passenger Floor

    2008 FL2.

Passenger floor gets soaking while aircon is running.

Have had a good look and was also in the mechanic today so blew out the drain hose, checked the hoses etc and no apparent problems or blockages (typically it refused to leak while there!!!)

Anyone got any ideas as to where this water may be coming from - surely it cant just be condensation!?

Water appears from under the little cover to the right of the footwell - right in near the drain hose for the a/c but no apparent direct leak....

Any help or previous experience appreciated!!

    Cheers

My air con continually leaves a puddle under the car, quite a lot. I would say your pipe is blocked and the water can't drain but you knew that. There is no other possibility really. Good luck with it.

It's possibly banking up because the teet end on the drain under the vehicle is not opening properly. Snip it off to make a 3-4mm hole and see what happens...chased same prob in my P38 for 2 yrs!! (slow learner...but every time I checked the drain it was clear...there was just not enough force behind the draining condensate to open it sufficiently)
