Fitting "new" seats in rear of a 130

I have a 1996 land Rover Defender 130 Dual cab with the bench seat in the back. Retracting lap sash belts on the outer seats and a fixed lap only belt in the middle. For safety I would like the centre seat to be a Lap Sash style belt. I guess it could be a 5 point harness too!

Anyone done this before? Problem seems to be the back of the cab has windows and the body is aluminium.

An Alternative would be to fit a new triple seat with integral belts. The bench seat is probably not that comfortable anyway.

The current bench seat bolts to a box that bolts to the floor. It can be removed leaving a big flat space.

I did ask Techsafe but they said not interested!

I realise what ever I do it will need to be certified by an engineer and not be cheap.

Any ideas, experience? Recommend an angineer or place to try?

 i am in Sydney.

 Thanks

 james
