    Spotlight Question

    Hi all,

I recently had a globe go pop in one of ny spotlights in a very smokey way, now the lense abd reflector is a smokey white color, anybody ekse had this happen? Alternatively any ideas of the best way to clean this bearing in mind the reflector and glass are sealed and the only way in through the globe hole

    Thanks
    Kevin

Alcohol spirit only will be your chance, any water will ruin the reflector unless it is coated...

I've heard if you put uncooked rice and some water and let it soak, it clears the cloudy-ness up. This was back when I was playing around with 80s BMWs, not sure how it'd work with your spotlights though.

Got it sorted, just put half a cup of non streak auto glass cleaner inside swished it round for a minute or so not enough to make it froth up though, then emptied it out, dried naturally with no marks so good as new now..
