    no oil to maxi flange

hi all ounce again I need advice, thanks all for the help with recent posts,
found a new one surprise surprise.
had a recon diff fitted two months ago here in cairns. ive got a complete maxi drive conversion with a no4 front axle kit.
checked the caps before the front diff went in and both had oil in them,
checked them when I got back from Brisbane and the left one is dry.
the wheel is spinning smooth and no play in the bearing diff is full?
should I be concerned or should I strip it down? rang the landrover bloke that installed the diff said he cant look at it till next week don't know if I should touch it or wait for them, getting fed up with lack of workmanship up here.
one dodgey bloke goes and another moves in. cheers in advance

Dry? The only way it could be dry is, the seal has leaked and the oil has not replenished itself from the ball. If the seal has leaked you could look for signs of a leak. If the swivel balls are not filled with oil but grease then you may have trouble replenishing the oil.

On the front I believe that there are two seals between the diff and you wheel bearings, one between diff housing/axle tube and the swivel ball and then another on the other side of the swivel ball. Work on your diff May have replaced these seals therefore stopping the diff oil from getting to your bearings.

Does it actually run these seals? Mine have been removed, yours may be as well. Check to see if you have oil in your swivel housing.
