    Electric Windows

    Gday all,
My 89 Rangie does not have electric windows but it seems to have the wiring in the centre console for it. Do all RR have the wiring installed at manufacture for elec windows regardless? Also does anyone know if the window motors out of a S1 Disco will fit the classic RR? I want to at least put elec in the front but am looking for a cheaper way out at the moment.

A lot of vehical manufactures have ONE wiring loom they fit into the car's, saves them desiding which one will or wont be the top of the line with all the extras. THey can add what they what because the wiring is all there.

As for the window winder, I am not sure if a disco one will fit or not.
But also check with Jaycar electrics, they have a universal unit that should do the job at a much lower price.

Shano my 2 door Disco has the wiring loom for 4 electric windows but as it is a 2 door I only have 2 windows

If you wish to check part numbers I can pop up there one weekend or give Brit Parts a ring and they will let you know about the rangie/disco part numbers
