    Weather shields

Does anybody have weather shields like these Land Rover Defender 1993 2014 Weather Shield Weathershields Door Visor | eBay?

If so, do they make much difference? I have one of the big bulbous style jobs on the passenger side, and it make it hard to see the mirror. Was hoping these might be better.

Not sure about those particular ones but I have my eye on these: ClimAir Wind Deflectors for Defender (Front Pair)

I'm also looking for some reviews/recommendations before buying, have only found one for the above which doesn't sound good: Amazon.co.uk: Customer Reviews: ClimAir CLI0033407 Wind Deflector for Land Rover Defender 5 door 2004/2005 Onwards (assuming it is the same ones)

I have had the Climairs fitted since 08.

Very good IMO. Best when its raining out and you want some fresh air, which admittedly does not happen a lot here in Australia! Does stop the wind belting in when the window is down a touch but I wouldn't base buying them solely on that.

    Hi Ranga,

I put a set of these on my 110. Whilst they worked quite well for the wind reduction, I found the curve distorted my vision (i.e. very different from looking through flat plastic) when entering corners/roundabouts. It was particularly bad on dusk (mine were also tinted).

After about 3 months I took them off. I'm just over 6 foot, so depending on your height it may not be an issue.

    cheers,

    Wayne
