    Seatbelts

    Hi All,

I need a new seatbelt in my 110, but am having trouble sourcing one. I have the klippan PN K4560 but everyone is saying it will be a 4 week wait while it is made.. (I need one ASAP).

People seem to stock later ones (after 1993) but not the early ones (mine is a 1986).

Does anyone know what the difference is?

Here's the general matrix that shows you what the part numbers mean: http://www.apvsafetyproducts.com/_li...at_Belt_Matrix

I've got a K4549 fitted in the front passenger position and its fine.

Can't help with Klippan parts...... However:

I needed a new stalk for the drivers seat and I just ordered a "defender" one (I.E. '93 or after). It bolted straight on and the existing belt clips into it fine. So I'm assuming you could just pickup an early Defender one from somewhere like Karcraft (next day express post).

Karcraft have the Defender inertia reel for about $80.

Our County's don't seem to fit in any category when it comes to parts, but I just order Defender. My VIN never fits the range listed, but I just ignore it now.

    Thanks Judo,

As nothing that I know of changed with the seat box I'm struggling to see what the difference could be... Maybe something to do with the seats being closer together.. Might see if I can have a sticky beak at a tdi...

DLS have these in both LH and RH and before anyone says there not ADR approved because they are from the UK get your facts right because they are ADR compliant

    Land Rover Defender"Hard TOP" L H Front Seat Belt TO`88 | eBay

I have them fitted and the RTA said they were fine as they are above our spec being EURO spec

Spare one I've got here has "Manufactured and tested to exceed the requirements of AS/NZS 2596" on it.

    Is that what you need?
