Sorry have no record of 25329628G, however I can tell you that 25329629G had engine number 24100464A and was sold to the NSW Police Dept. on 12/9/69.
It would have been assembled at the PMC Enfield assembly plant in the month before (August/September 1969) and was likely part of batch 28 with the CKD kits arriving on SS Delphic (those parts that weren't made in Australia.)
Is that close enough?
ADDIT: Is that a picture of your Landy in your avatar? Does it have rounded corners at the back of the roof? (Unlike the current Defenders etc.) If it is the roof is made by Athol Hedges and the vehicle was likely distributed by Annand & Thompson, both companies were in Brisbane. Unfortunately the sales records no longer exist, most were lost in the 1974 floods.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
cheers both of you and yes the roof does have rounded edges im hoping to have her back on the road next few months great first car shes toppless atm due to being picked up with a strap has bent it in but she will go back to original only 17 567 miles on the clock engine looked like it had done no work at all chassis is perfect i bought a newer series 3 that the front and rear of its chassis was rotten so shes been cut up for parts so if you need any parts from wheels to windscreen also a half cab that ive been told are rare
